My driveway gate scrapes the ground when opening — what's the fix?

Ground scraping is almost always a sagging gate. The cause is usually worn top or bottom hinges, a leaning post, or a broken weld at the hinge plate. We diagnose and fix the root cause — not just shim the bottom of the gate.

My wood driveway gate is rotting at the bottom — can it be saved?

If only the bottom rail is affected, we can splice in new treated lumber and re-frame. Extensive rot through multiple members usually means the panel needs replacement, which we can also handle.

My driveway gate hits the ground on the far side when it swings open — how do you adjust that?

This is a travel limit adjustment on the operator, combined with checking ground clearance on an arc. We set the travel stop and recheck the full swing path during the service call.

Can you repair a driveway gate that was damaged by a car?

Yes. Depending on severity, we straighten bent members, re-weld broken joints, replace damaged panels, and assess post alignment. We also work with your insurance adjuster if needed.
